Campus Amenities

Mabee Center
Built in 1980, the Mabee Center is home to Jewell basketball, volleyball and swimming teams. There are four recreation basketball courts, squash and racquetball courts, an indoor track and a student fitness center.
Harriman-Jewell Series
Luciano Pavarotti made his professional debut in 1973 in the Harriman-Jewell Series. Now in its 59th season, the series brings the best of the performing arts to the Kansas City community. Students can get free tickets to all Harriman-Jewell events.
Pryor Learning Commons
More than a library, more than a place to study, more than a classroom. The Pryor Learning Commons is a three-level facility featuring comfortable spaces in a high-tech environment. The facility features access to online journals and research tools, access to various hardware and software, training labs, a coffee shop, engaging spaces for meetings and classes, digital classroom materials and more.
